About the program

Movement & Mindfulness is a transformative program designed for youth that provides an outlet to move, create, and breathe while encouraging them to grow into more self-aware and self-assured individuals.

This program has been brought to schools, girl scout groups, and private workshops throughout greater Boston. Our curriculum educates students how to care for their mind and body, to learn how to understand and regulate their emotions, and offers practical tools on how to put this into everyday practice.

We educate on body awareness, cultivating empathy and inquisitively to the practice. We explore nutrition and how it plays a part in our the mind & body. And we teach on what it means to hone a gratitude practice. The program takes an accessible, relative, and playful approach to our teachings, so that all ages have an opportunity to grow!

It has been well established that exercise and meditation reduce stress and anxiety while increasing focus and academic performance. Movement & Mindfulness offers an age appropriate and effective channel for youth participants to explore mindfulness meditation practices within a supportive environment of exercise and creative movement.

“I wanted to take the program because I was feeling stressed lately. I learned that breathing helps my anxiety. After taking the program I feel I have more tools to help me feel more calm.” - Elise
